Some of our recent clients are included below. We hope that visiting these sites gives you some compelling ideas for technologies you can implement on your own website.

Object-Oriented Website Maintenance:
Vine Design maintains the SteelTips.org website for the Structural Steel Education Council. This website uses object-oriented PHP PEAR programming (with a MySQL database) and HTML templating design to separate presentation, program code, and content. Vine Design built a new Draft Steel Tips application to allow council members to review and comment on Steel Tips before they are published for purchase on the site.

Macromedia Flash Website Maintenance:
Vine Design maintains the Forell/Elsesser Engineering website using Macromedia Flash to publish updates and create new Flash-based web pages.

Website Maintenance and Updates:
Vine Design maintains the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California (SEAONC) website using Active Server Pages (ASP) and SQL Server. One update included the implementation of an interactive online events calendar.

Website design and Integrated E-commerce:
Vine Design built the Plumpstocking.com website from start to finish, including design layout. This site features an interactive shopping experience which allows users to view a dozen items within a gift assortment. Users view their pending purchases in a pop-up cart window which they can continuously review as they shop. This site also includes an interactive gift assortment building application.

Interactive Web Database Application:
The specifications for this site called for Vine Design to design and build a web application to step users through a dynamic questionnaire, then generate a customized PDF document. The site also included integrated e-commerce (see below).

Integrated E-commerce:
For this project, Vine Design built membership registration pages; installed credit card gateway software on the client's web server; integrated the site with the credit card gateway; and developed a database application to store membership information and allow LawAnytime's owner to view and sort the membership records.

This client required transferral of the site to a new web hosting provider; integration of the site with the credit card gateway; access for members to update their own membership information; and subscription management for renewing members.

Website design:
Vine Design performed website design services to provide FTF Engineering with a professional online presence.
Online Event Registration:
Vine Design developed the online registration form for a retreat event, and provided coordinators with access to the form data so that they could manage registrant information themselves.

Vine Design developed the online registration form for a professional structural engineering conference. Once again, coordinators were provided with access to the form data so that they could manage registrant information and website content themselves.

Online Ballot:
Vine Design developed the online ballot so that users could elect new Trustees online. Again, coordinators were provided with access to the ballot data so that they could manage the election information themselves.

Website development:
Vine Design worked with a professional graphic designer to establish this client's web presence. This site also allows non-technical content managers to change site content themselves without any knowledge of HTML.

Macromedia Flash:
Vine Design worked on a Flash presentation that was shown on this client's home page. The company was acquired by Convergys, Inc. in February 2002.
